GOOD MORNING FROM STAGE 4 OF THE UAE TOUR WOMEN

The ALDAR stage will close the 2nd etiion of the one and only UCI Women’s WorldTour race in the Middle East

Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, 11 February 2024 – Good morning from Stage 4 of the second edition of the UAE Tour Women, the one and only UCI Women’s WorldTour race in the Middle East, organised by Abu Dhabi Sports Council and taking place from 8 to 11 February. It’s time for the ALDAR Stage, 105 km from Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum to Abu Dhabi Breakwater. One last chance for the fast wheels of the peloton as the route is entirely flat. Will anyone be able to avoid the sprint?

The peloton, 114 riders strong, passed km 0 at 13.51.

STAGE 4, LOUVRE ABU DHABI MUSEUM-ABU DHABI BREAKWATER, 105 KM – ALDAR STAGE

The route

Stage around the city of Abu Dhabi. Starting from Louvre Abu Dhabi, the first part of the route heads to Saadiyat Island and then to Yas Marina. It returns to Abu Dhabi City and passes over Al Reem Island (Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi) and Al Maryah Island. It then passes in Qasr Al Hosn, arriving at Abu Dhabi Breakwater for a sprint finish.

Final kilometres

The last 5 km are on a wide road with large semi-curves that lead to the finish line on asphalt.
